What is Cocalesa Music Therapy? It's a dream really. A company I hope to own someday soon, but until then, it will live in my dreams. Cocalesa is a word special to me, made up by someone whose music, personality, and unconditional love has brought a lot of sunshine into my life. Music therapy is not a made up word, however. Nor is it me plugging my headphones and using music to help me be more relaxed, motivated, or comforted. Nor is it the performance given at a senior care center. Nor is the volunteer musician playing in the halls and rooms of the hospital. (Nor is such a great word, isn't it?!) Music therapy is an incredible profession I am grateful to be a part of.
